Soil/PH/Texture: Tolerates a wide variety of humus enriched, well-drained soils from sandy loam to clay loam; roses live best in a pH range of 6.0-7.2 with 6.5 being the ideal for optimum growth and flowering. (pH outside of this range causes loss of nutrients which has a detrimental effect of roses.)
Soil Moisture: average watering, moist but do not over water

Pests/Diseases: roses are bug and disease resistant with a moderate amount of care.
Growing Conditions: Easy to grow, low maintenance - Prune to maintain shape and increase branching once established and remember to remove any dead or damaged branches.
Characteristics: has dark green, glossy, leathery leaves, the blooms are clusters of fragrant (Spiced licorice candy fragrance) butter gold flowers, medium sized, very full, and old fashioned, 35+ petals, that appear in Late spring – Early summer and bloom repeatedly.
Propagation: by stem cuttings, grafting or budding
Wildlife: attractive to bees, butterflies, and birds
Facts: Hybridized by Tom Carruth in2004 and introduced in 2006 in the US and in 2009 to Australia – parents of this rose are (Voodoo x R. soulieana) x (Summerwine) x Topnotch. (Additional Cultivar information: PP18473, aka WEKvossutono, Julia Child™, Absolutely Fabulous, Anisade®, SASOL Rose, Soul Mate)
Designer Considerations: make beautiful floral arrangements, dried or fresh.
